When the Spool DAO set out to focus on institutional onboarding to DeFi, both compliance and legal opinions became very important. The Spool DAO obtained legal opinions surrounding the V2 framework from multiple trusted parties and, with that, was able to ensure that the V2 product is compliant in multiple jurisdictions.

The leading example of this compliance is being fully compliant throughout Europe, which is the case, even with the upcoming legislation detailed in MiCAR & MiFID ll.
